Each person has 5 "mistakes" they can make a day. This doesn't include rote repetition of facts like 2 + 2 or what have you. Another important note, is that the world "mistakes" is used loosely. There is a council of 9 appointed by the UN, and they vote on whether or not a person can be held liable for their words.

For example. You make a promise. You intend to follow through. This isn't a mistake. Then, for whatever reason you cannot follow through, this isn't a mistake. Where mistakes happen are when you make statements you intend follow through on, and you flat out lie. This is a big one. "I love you", is a great example. There is no feasible way to know whether it is true or not. This is a mistake.

Let's give some examples.

Person A: I promise to be there tomorrow.
Person B: Okay!
Person Z: Actually, Person A. You wont be there tomorrow.
*Person A is confused, Person B is confused, Person Z is confused. Person A goes home and thinks about it. Nope, I will be there.*

Next day rolls around. Person A isn't there. Person B sues Person A. There will be a trial. The 9 decide that person A lied. They are arrested, and their remaining 4 mistakes taken away. Any other lies they make that day, they will be executed.

Another example.

Person A: I love you.
Person B: I love you too.
*Person A never, ever, ever intends on seeing Person B again.*

This is a Lie. A mistake. Person B sues, and like above, person A is punished.

Some people adapt. Some people don't. The easiest way, is just to shut up. And that's what most of humanity does. They don't even say "I love you". They are cowards.
