I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life

So I was out with one of my friends in one of our favorite bars. We decided to get another beer and they told us we can order at the bar (which was on the other side of the bar) so I went to order a beer for my friend and myself. Now I'm 6'2" and I'm quite slim due to my high metabolism so I can easily get lost in a crowd of people. So while I was walking to the bar to order a beer a creepy guy walked up to me and started talking with me. I tried to be friendly since I believe you should be kind towards people. Now I never saw him in this bar before and he seemed quite drunk. Now at first he was talking about how I was really tall for an 18 year old but I told him I was 24 but he did not believe me and started calling me Tommy, now I tried to tell him I was not Tommy but he kept calling me that. Then he got really close to me, literally a foot away from me and started asking me about where I lived and stuff. I did not want to tell this creepy guy where I lived so I tried to tell him I lived on the other side of town but he got really close to me, to the point where our faces were a foot away from each other. I tried to give him a hint that he was being creepy so I pretended to sneeze and when I did I made my whole body flinch so he would give me some space but he did not. The worst part about all of this was that I was surrounded by people who saw him being really creepy and did nothing. One of the workers saw how uncomfortable I was and told this guy off and told him if he kept doing that he would call the cops. This creep left the bar and walked across the street to a liquor store. I don't know but this whole experience made me feel really uncomfortable and kind of uneasy, and it made me feel weird when people invaded my personal space.
