Does it make me a bad person?

I just put my sons girlfriend in her place. He is 20 and she is 18. <br><br>They don't live with me anymore, they have an apartment and my son pays his own bills and does his own grocery shopping. <br><br>They came over last night and cooked supper. They were supposed to clean up the kitchen when they finished but instead they left and didn't even wash their plates. <br><br>I did them because I'm the parent and that's what we do. But the next morning I got a text from her asking me why I was such a dick for doing them when I could have just left them. <br><br>I asked my son if he told her to text me that and he said no. I told him she had no right to speak to me that way and he agreed. <br><br>So when they came over today I confronted her about the text. She doubled down and said I should have left them. I lost it. I told her that she was in my house and would not speak to me like that. I told her that I was done being polite and that she wasn't to speak to me like that again and if she did I would ask my son if he wanted her to stay with his aunt or his uncle. <br><br>I put my hand on her chin turned her head and looked her dead in the eye when I told her all this. My son told me she hasn't said anything since. <br><br>Was I wrong?
