FYI: Covid-19 test is required when flying out of China after the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted for out-going travels.

I just flew from Shanghai to Vancouver on Jan 4 with Air Canada. I was Covid-19 positive from Dec 31st.<br><br>I was turned down from checking in on Jan 4 and was notified that I had to provide a negative test result for boarding. I took the test with the help from the Air Canada staff and the test result was ready in one hour. I was allowed to travel after I got a negative test result.<br><br>This is what I heard from the staff that any passenger who had been tested positive Covid-19 in the last 10 days will be asked for a re-test when they try to check in.
