Interviewing artists that I think are the vanguard of the next generation of artists that will inspire my writing

Let me preface by saying that the artists I'm talking to all have their own large following. They're working hard to build an audience and put out cool content. If you think you could interview them, you probably could! I just haven't tried. For that reason, I'm not going to disclose their names yet because I haven't disclosed my personal project to them. This is my personal way of connecting with other artists and I want to build my confidence. I am just so grateful that I get to do this and nothing could make me more happy.

I've always loved art. I've always loved writing. I come from a long line of writers and as I've been working my way through writing my novel, I've been talking to a group of new artists about their process and how they work. These eras are great for this because of social media. I can slide into a DM and strike up a conversation. I have been working on building my confidence and using my voice. I love this, I love this so much. Every time we talk, I'm just so honored and I feel seen.

I've been wanting to do this for years but I was too afraid. I didn't think that I had what it took to do this and I was nervous about reaching out to other artists. But here I am. I've had three interviews so far and one more set up. I am so honored to be doing this. I feel like I've been given a rare view into the process of working artists. I wish I could share this with the world. I feel like I've been given a gift.

I'm really glad I opened myself up to this and I hope I can continue to grow as a writer through the process. I feel so grateful and I'm so glad that I took the chance to do this.
