2 weeks ago, I forbid my students from using AI

I am an economics professor for high school students and roughly 6 months ago, I forbade my students from using AI. <br><br>Well, 2 weeks ago, my students had an exam and the results were truly surprising. 70% of my students who are strong students barely got 50% while the weaker students got 80%. I found this very weird and as I checked their papers I found out that some students had their answers exactly the same. <br><br>So I confronted them and they told me that they had hired a freelancer to create an AI program for them. I asked for more info and they said that this freelancer had created an AI program that bypassed all the anti-CV detection tools and he was selling this tool to a lot of students and as I checked I found out that so many students from other schools were using this. <br><br>I just wanted to share this info with you guys to show you how bad the situation is right now.
