My gf who watched anime with me doesn't like anime anymore

For context, we've been dating for almost a year and she's been an anime fan since she was a kid. When we started dating, she would ask me about anime and we'd talk about it. We even watched a couple of shows together and she seemed to enjoy it. She's been an anime fan for at least 5 or 6 years already, so it's not like she's just discovering it.<br><br>A couple of months ago, we were at a mall together and we walked through the anime section. One of the workers there noticed that I was looking at a specific figure and started talking to me about it, asking me if I had any other figures of that anime. My gf said "Oh he doesn't have a figure of that anime" but then I said "but he does have a figure so and so anime". She was like "oh I thought you didn't have a figure of that anime" and I was like "why did you think that". She was like "I thought you didn't have a lot of anime figures?" and I was like "oh I don't?". She just laughed awkwardly and shook her head and we moved on.<br><br>A few weeks later, we were at her house and she was on her phone when she got a notification about a new episode from one of her favorite anime shows. She instantly closed the notification. I asked her if she forgot about it, and she said "I haven't forgotten, but I just don't care much about anime anymore". I asked her what she meant and she said she doesn't have the same enthusiasm as before, and that I'm somehow responsible for it.<br><br>I was perplexed, because how am I responsible for this? I don't get it, because at the mall she seemed to have had an issue with me. <br><br>A few days later, she just told me out of nowhere that she just doesn't care about anime anymore, and that I'm the reason. I asked her why, because it doesn't make sense. She said "I've been noticing that you know more about anime than me and it's bothering me".<br><br>To say the least, I was appalled and a bit hurt by this. After that, we didn't hang out much. She seemed to be spending more time with her friends, and I was just doing my own thing.<br><br>Then a few days ago, she just told me she doesn't want to hang out anymore. I asked her why, and she said that she doesn't find me interesting anymore. I asked her what made her say that, and she said she realized that she only finds me interesting when we're talking about anime, and that she can just do that with her friends too. I was shocked so I didn't say much, but she continued to say that she doesn't have any reason to be with me anymore.<br><br>Can I ask what I did wrong here? Baffling.
