Can you want to be in love with someone even if you don't like them?

I've been feeling really lonely lately and I thought about finding a woman to settle down with, have a kid with, etc. But I don't want to be in a relationship as much as I do want to want to be in a relationship.<br><br>I am reasonably attractive and I have good communication skills, so I don't think I'm the problem here. I don't want to be in a relationship, but I want to want to be in one. I don't have to do any work to acquire a relationship, as much as I do to want one.<br><br>It's like being hungry and wishing I wasn't hungry. I don't have to want to eat food, I just have to find some food and eat it. But I have to want to be in love with someone and I don't know how to do that.<br><br>I've always been described as aloof but I want to want to be described as charming. If want to want to be in a relationship so I can convincingly pretend I want to be in one, so I can get a relationship and maybe then I will want to be in one.
