TIL that (some?) girls have to check for periods periodically

So my writer friend and I were working on a project, but looking first for materials to get inspired, when (some very good?) porn popped up briefly before closing. I asked him why, and he explained it was an ad, and then I asked him how to stop it, then he did it for me.
Then I asked him why he was so familiar with such ads, and he said it was very common, and then he opened such an ad on purpose and went fast forwarding through it.
Finally, I asked how he fast forwarded so easily, and he opened the same ad and tried to go to the end, but then we saw a "TIPS" (or something like this, I don't remember exactly) which briefly showed what the content was. Then he closed and said he can't control himself. I said "then fast forward!" and he looked angry and went very slowly, and I (who was 2nd year med student) thought: "wtf, he has no idea that going slowly is worse! I must tell him or he will mess up".
So I told him how I can go slow, and then he started to go fast, but then he went "oops" and opened another one, and then I asked why he peed in his pants, and he explained that it was normal, and then I asked what to do, and he went to clean himself.
Then I asked why he peed in his pants, and he said he "lost control" briefly, and I asked why, and he said I was 2nd year med and should peed in my own pants, and I was like "huh, I'm not 2nd year med, I'm a writer", but he said I was a 2nd year med student.
Then I woke up, and I'm angry with my friend who isn't actually my friend, and I don't know why I didn't have my "uterus" or why I didn't know, and maybe it was her fault, but I'm not blaming her, because I'm a feminist.
