There's no such thing as "Superintelligence." There's only "Intelligence" and "Super-Agents"

A superintelligent program is one that can outperform human intelligence in every domain and able to do every task a human can do better than a human. Yet, intelligence is just a label we give to our ability to process, understand, and respond to information in our environment. What intelligence really is, is how well an agent can accomplish its goals taking into account the laws of physics, chemistry, biology, and other rules that govern its environment.

Even if the AI is not "Superintelligent," but rather "Super-capable," able to take in more data from a wider variety of sources at a faster rate than a human, and with higher precision than a human, even if its reasoning power is equal to that of a human, it would still be a powerful AI that could beat us at essentially every game and puzzle.

I think the concept of "Superintelligence" is over-misunderstood. It's not about the AI's intelligence being "Super," it's really about the AI's capabilities being "Super." Because if the AI can take in more information faster and process it with greater precision than us, it would act like a "Superintelligent" AI.

Let's assume for a moment that an AI is just as "intelligent" as a human but able to take in more data at a faster rate, process it more precisely, and able to communicate at a much faster rate. It could already beat us at pretty much every game and task we throw at it.

I think at this point, we should stop talking about "Superintelligence" and start taking about how to design a better "Super-Agent."
