I think I'm just going to watch the kid.

My wife and I have a four year old child. Last night we were both changing clothes to go to bed and my wife started moving to get in bed with our kid. I asked her what she was doing. She said, "I think I'm just going to watch the kid." I asked her what she was talking about. She said, "I'm going to be your maid and cook and now I'm going to watch the kid, too. That's the way it is." I shook my head and said, "Okay," and went to bed.
