I recently saw a video on "how to meal prep for the next 6 months and how much it costs". There were a couple of red flags.

**"6 months of high-quality meat for $10"?**

The meat was mixed (50% meat, 50% fat). A healthy (and cheap) alternative would be a combination of beans and oats. For example, a 2 kg bag of oats for $10 and a 500g bag of beans for $10. You can make around 4 times more meals out of these.

**"a 12-pack of eggs for $10"**

Compare that to the cost of a bag of oats or a bag of lentils that you can make a lot more meals out of.

**"drinking 1L of water (with protein powder) per meal"**

Drinking 3L of water (diluted with protein powder) per day?! I get why they're doing that (to make it look like they're eating a lot, and to make their meal prep more "efficient")... but that's just not healthy.

The entire video was so weird... I've never seen anyone drink 1L of water with protein powder and call it a meal. Or drink 3L of water with protein powder in a day. And then have a big portion of boiled rice with some frozen vegetables as a "snack" (I don't know what they consider a meal and what a snack...). And at the same time brag about how much weight they've lost and that they're "healthy" now. It didn't look healthy to me at all.
