Recently learned that monkeys are enrolled in college classes, am I the last person to find out?

I found an entry that says, "Dr. Fry, the head of the department of English, once taught a monkey named Maggie" I'm not sure how long ago that was, as I couldn't find the date. I'm afraid to enrolled in a program where a monkey once also thrived.
