This sub has great potential if it’s done tastefully.

As a fellow weeb I hate it when people say “I’m a weeb” and just immediately associate with the worst parts of the fandom. The anime community gave me great friends and helped me out of a lot of tough times so I hate seeing it get a bad name. <br><br>I agree with most of the hate for catgirls but it’s mostly the over sexualization that bothers me, I like nekos because I like the idea of more humanized cats. Not for sexual purposes. But I agree that over sexualizing them is the biggest problem with them. <br><br>I don’t want to see this sub turn into a “I’m not like other weebs” sub, but I do hope this stays a place where people can just express their distaste for a particular part of anime.
