If you aren't in need of a job due to UBI, why be a part of society?

I don't understand how UBI can be a solution to mass unemployment.<br><br>There would be huge tax increases, your job would be to fund other people's lifestyles, if you can't participate in the economy, why participate in society?<br><br>Why put yourself through school, why work hard in a career? If you can't find a job, you just mooch off your government forever, why be a productive member of society?
