Does anyone else feel like the media is trying to promote meth?

I've been seeing a plethora of stories lately about meth psychosis, but they all seem to be presented in a way that makes it seem very appealing. Like when I see the description of someone walking into the ER, screaming about how she needs to get the bugs off of her that no one else can see, it freaks me out. But in another way, it also intrigues me, and it's weird.

Something else I've noticed is the rising trend of people making meth psychosis videos. Important note, this is based on my observation of online trends and not based on any actual statistics. I've see a lot of videos on tik tok of people making meth psychosis videos, where they either pretend that they're on meth and interpret the world in that way, or they use some editing technique to make it seem like the world is abnormal and that's what it would be like to be on meth.

I know I've seen in the past in various media outlets some attempt to glorify drug use, but it seems that meth psychosis is somehow becoming normalized.

With that said, have you ever felt like there is some some coordinated effort to normalize meth psychosis and encourage meth use?
