I struggled to maintain good grades my freshman year of high school. The summer before my sophomore year I realized I needed to make a change. I made a lot of changes.

* I started waking up at 7:00 PM instead of 1:00 AM. Yeah, I used to sleep in until 1:00 in the afternoon. You don't realize how much you can get done in the day until you wake up at a reasonable hour.
* I made a schedule for myself to follow. I designated blocks of time for homework, schoolwork, video games, and time dedicated to just relaxing.
* I got good grades. I got straight A's my entire sophomore year of high school.
* I learned how to surf. I love it. The ocean is an excellent place to relax and clear your mind.
* I joined a recreational basketball league. I got in shape, and I played basketball often.

In short, I made good decisions. I decided to make a change, and I followed through.

If you're struggling, it's okay. I was there. I made a change, and I lived a much better life from that point on.
