How do I search for a glitch here that I don't know the name of?

Ok, so I've been having this recurring glitch where I open my web browser (asking me to sign in), only for it to log me out of my Google account in other apps. I think I had this issue in Apple products when they were getting the 70-something software update last year. Does anyone know the term for that?
