I just opened Netflix on my TV and was presented with this prompt.

While looking through the 3 plans, I realized they essentially CANCELED the "Basic" 8.99 option. The new basic is $13.99 a month, which is a 55% increase on the old "Basic" plan.

How Are YOU supposed to not have inflation if companies are just doubling and tripling their prices on necessities like streaming services every time there is a 1% rate hike?

If I wanted to pay $30/month for CABLE TV I WOULD HAVE A CABLE SUBSCRIPTION

I CANCELED Netflix 2 years ago after raising the prices to $18/month for 4K. Today, the "premium" is CANCELED and there is a new even more expensive "ultra" plan for $30/month. This is ridiculous.

Companies are the ones who are constantly CREATING inflation, which is random and unpredictable. I personally believe the interest rates should be 0% and the government should heavily regulate these greedy corporations that keep raising prices on essentials.
