Can anyone excel in a career in medicine?

I (29M) currently work as a data analyst in a research lab and have been working to pursue a career as a scientist since I was a kid. I just finished my doctorate in the field last year. I’m now feeling burnt out and lost after completing my doctorate. I just can’t bring myself to do any of the work I was doing generated any passion in me like it used to. I am now contemplating a career in medicine. I am considering doing a post-bac to get the science prerequisites to go to med school. I really don’t know if I would excel in medicine though. I am a very slow learner when it comes to new concepts and skills. The lab environment was just too stressful for me, but I did excel in it. I am also having some trouble with anxiety and depression. I don’t even know if I should be considering this path in medicine if I’m currently experiencing these problems. What are your thoughts?
