I see so many people either complaining about how they can’t do meal prep or that they don’t do meal prep because they watch YouTube channels that depict a $200 meal prep that takes an entire day. First of all, it’s either fake or a lie.

Second of all, you can meal prep any way you want!

For example, I don’t want to spend more than $45 a week on meal prep which is $5 a day. I also cannot spend more than 20 minutes a day. So, here are some meal prep ideas that either take under 20 minutes, under an hour, or are batchable.

$5 or under:

* Oatmeal and fruit - 10 minutes
* Southern-style grits topped with cheese, fruit - 10 minutes
* Yogurt parfait - 10 minutes
* 2 hard-boiled eggs and fruit - 10 minutes
* Egg Muffins - 15 minutes
* Overnight oats - 10 minutes
* Boiled sweet potatoes topped with cheese, bacon bits, and sliced avocado - 15 minutes
* Banana pancakes - 10 minutes
* Smoothies - 10 minutes
* Cereal with milk and fruit - 10 minutes
* Breakfast burritos - 15 minutes
* Peanut butter banana toast - 10 minutes
* Scrambled eggs and toast - 10 minutes
* Boiled scrambled eggs and cheese topped with sliced avocado - 15 minutes
* Avocado toast - 10 minutes
* Cottage cheese pancakes - 15 minutes
* Cottage cheese and fruit - 10 minutes
* Waffles with bacon, fruit, and syrup - 15 minutes
* Tater tots topped with cheese, bacon bits, and sliced avocado - 15 minutes
* Breakfast quiche - 15 minutes
* Cinnamon rolls - 15 minutes
* Apple pancakes - 15 minutes

Under 1 hour (can be meal prepped all at once and portioned out):

* Banana bread - 30-45 minutes
* Hash browns and bacon - 30 minutes
* Breakfast casserole - 45 minutes
* Biscuits and gravy - 45 minutes
* Crepes - 45 minutes
* Bacon and cheese croissants - 45 minutes
* Breakfast tacos - 30 minutes
* Pancake bites - 30 minutes
* Pancakes - 30 minutes
* Waffles - 30 minutes
* French toast - 30 minutes
* Sausage gravy and biscuits - 30 minutes
* Biscuit donuts - 45 minutes
* Cinnamon rolls - 45 minutes
* Coffee cake - 45 minutes
* Quiche - 45 minutes
* Muffins - 45 minutes
* Scones - 45 minutes
* Crepes - 45 minutes

Batched meals (waffles, biscuits, hash browns, breakfast burritos, etc can be batched and either frozen, refrigerated, or cooked all at once and reheated)

* 1 dozen waffles - 1 hour
* 1 dozen biscuits - 45 minutes
* 3 dozen hash browns - 1 hour
* 1 dozen breakfast burritos - 45 minutes
* 1 dozen muffins - 45 minutes
* 1 dozen scones - 45 minutes
* 2 dozen cinnamon rolls - 1.5 hours
* 1 dozen pancakes - 30 minutes
* 2 dozen French toast slices - 45 minutes
* 1 dozen crepes - 45 minutes
* 1 dozen biscuits donuts - 45 minutes
* 1 dozen biscuit breakfast sandwiches - 45 minutes
* 1 dozen bacon and cheese croissants - 45 minutes
* 2 dozen breakfast tacos - 45 minutes
* 3 dozen pancake bites - 45 minutes

These are just a few examples of breakfast meal prep. I think it important to note that you do not have to meal prep everything at once. You can meal prep one thing a week if that’s what works for you! You can also meal prep just a couple of days at a time if that’s what works for you!
