What are some tips for a new high school graduate to get a job?

I'm about to graduate high school and since I didn't get any scholarships to college, I have to join the workforce full-time to earn money to go to college. I haven't had any sort of job before (thanks mom) so I have no resume. What are some tips for a new worker looking to find a full-time job to support themselves?
