AITA for asking my sister and her husband to pay rent for living in my house for the past two years?

I bought a house in NC about two years ago. My sister lost her job because of Covid and reached out to me asking if she and her husband could stay with me. I agreed, saying they could stay until they got back on their feet.

They pay for their groceries and their two dogs, but don’t contribute to the household in any other ways. My house is about 2800 sq ft. My sister and her husband have their own bedroom and private bathroom, plus a bonus room. They told me last week they are expecting a baby in February. They are now saying they plan on staying until the baby is at least a year old.

I’m getting a little tired of having them in my house and never really having any time to myself. I also don’t make a ton of money and have been feeling a little strained the last few months between financing the house and paying for utilities plus everything else.

I asked them to start paying rent and they got pissed off at me. They said they don’t have enough money to afford to pay for their groceries plus rent. I told them they could easily find a job working at a grocery store or fast food place. They said no. They have jobs, they just aren’t working them right now. They said they would pay me $100 a month and I said no. We argued and I ended up saying rent is $1200 or one of us is moving out. Long story short, they think I’m being an AH for asking them to pay rent.
