I’ll break it down:

4x a week, he gets a free lunch at work.

The free lunch is a Lean Cuisine or similar that he puts in the microwave, and there’s a bag that’s prepackaged with a small bag of chips and a small cookie.

I think he’s disappointed that it’s not fresh food that’s actually prepared in the employee break room. He was looking forward to getting a little something extra at work.

This looks like a sad meal to do that 4x a week. What kind of company serves a Lean Cuisine 4x a week? It’s not that hard to get a catering company to drop off fresh food or hire someone to make the food fresh for a lunch break.

It feels so lazy. Is this a common thing in the corporate world?
