Hey guys, thanks for reading. I just graduated this spring with an engineering degree, and having a very hard time finding a job. I've been applying for a few months, but no luck. I'm getting very worried because I am supposed to work in the summer to pay for college loans, and then I planned on starting grad school in the fall.

I am also worried about losing momentum. I've just graduated and I feel like I am just sitting at home doing nothing.

I just feel like I've done everything right. I had a 3.8 gpa, got good grades in my classes, I did 3 internships during college, one at a good company, as well as did a research project. I also applied to over 100 jobs, but no luck. I feel like I've done every right, but still nothing.

I know the economy is bad, but I am having a hard time accepting that I should have a job lined up already. I know I'm not just faceless redditor, but I feel this way. I know I've done everything right and am crushed I don't have a job lined up. I also feel like my family is judging me and putting pressure on me. I know they don't want me to struggle, but I feel like they are putting a lot of pressure on me to just get work lined up. I've tried networking with my family friends, but no luck. I'm also worried I'm going to have to take a gap year, which I really don't want to do. I just feel like I've worked so hard through school, and now I am being rewarded with essentially nothing. I feel like I've been thrown into the deep end and I'm just sort of flailing around in the water. I'm trying to improve my coding skills, but I feel like I just work hard in life to not get rewarded. I know I sound like a baby, but I am just really worried. I am also looking to move to a new city, but I am worried that I will have to move there without a job. I just don't know what to do. Any advice would be great.

Tl;dr just graduated with work experience, high gpa, but no work lined up and I'm really worried
