An open letter to people who say "just do codecademy etc"

So I used to be a anti-Codecademy guy, but I now realise I made a mistake. Codecademy is an amazing app, I've learned so much from it. But, there's a huge problem when it comes to these code apps and it's that they really don't give you a grasp of the real world. You're all alone, in a bubble, with your own coding problems. But, in the real world, you're not alone, and your boss gets involved in your life. When working for codecademy, your boss is the app itself. I really don't get why people say "just do codecademy and get a job as a developer!"... Sure, you'll get a job, but you'll fail working with people because you've never had to work for people before.
