How can you be so obtuse?

So Twitter is Twitter and YouTube is YouTube. It's a little harder to be dumb-arse on Chambers, so I'd like to ask how people can be so damn obtuse when it comes to anime adaptations of video games.<br><br>`Just make it another season of Summer Pockets. It will be good.`<br><br>No, it wont- It will be shit. Just like nearly every other "fuck off, I don't know how to make this work so I'm just going to make it an anime original story" decisions. S;G movie. Steins;Gate Elite. Nier: Automata. Persona 3. Persona 5. Cyberpunk. AI: Somnium Files. Tales of Zestiria. Tales of Arise. Danganronpa.<br><br>`It's going to be a 1:1 adaptation`<br><br>No, it wont. The story sucks. The game's story is boring. The VN is boring and unexpanded because it was made for the PS2. Even if it was to be a straight up 1:1 adaptation, you are 100% fucking delusional if you think that the anime is going to cover BY ANY MEANS the entire story. There are no 50 episode adaptations. That is BY FAR the rarity instead of the norm. You're BY FAR more likely to get something like Gungrave or Ergo Proxy; a 26 episode attempt at making some semblance of an anime. A 50 episode anime just wont happen- and if it is a 50 episode anime, then you will just be complaining that it's taking too long to get to the good parts.<br><br>`It should be a full time-skip to the sequel!- Everyone who wants a 1:1 is stupid and should be ignored and not be allowed an opinion!`<br><br> BY FAR the most annoying and most fucking stupid- Everyone has their own opinions, and no movie or anime is void of problems... but you go out of your way to make a full time-skip just so we can get to the sequel?! BY FAR the worst approach of all of these- It is impossible to make this without problems. Everyone who wants a full time-skip is a fucking idiot.<br><br>Think about it for a second- What would be the narrative advantage of skipping the entirety of the first? Everyone who wants a full time-skip is doing so because \*JUST\* so they can get to the sequel. It can't be because the story will be better, because it will be BY FAR worse. Think of the dozens of characters that would be written out. The hundreds of hours of story that would be locked out.<br><br>What would the fucking advantage be? Why would the anime be better, if it were to skip the first? What would be the fucking point?<br><br>`But it would be so cool`<br><br>No, it would- I'm sure you think so. You are however 100% fucking delusional if you think that you would be able to make a full time-skip without BY FAR the most amount of problems. BY FAR the most annoying and most fucking stupid approach- and one that you will never see executed in any shape or form.<br><br>I mean. BY FAR. It can't be because the story would be better- because the story will be BY FAR worse. It can't be because it will be more faithful to the spirit of the game. It won't.
