Forced Circumstances have me down to 75% capacity. How do I avoid burnout?

I'm in a situation on my job where I'll be short a full-time employee for the next several months. In order to have a team to work with and have enough people to cover shifts, I've been allowed to hire two part-time employees.

I've hired one, and I'll likely be hiring a second soon. There's a catch: the pool of candidates I'm drawing from have little experience and even less talent. I hired the best candidate from a pool of 12 applicants, and this candidate has never worked a job before.

The person I hired is eager but has no experience and will require a lot of training and hand-holding. The one I'm about to hire is worse. I don't have a choice, and while the talent pool could improve later, I'll be in this situation for the next several months at least.

I'm exhausted already and I know burnout looms ahead. I'm so overwhelmed with all the hand-holding I have to do that I basically get nothing done every day except train this person and work with my team to make sure they're doing the right thing. How can I navigate this situation without burning out?
