Since I joined this sub an year ago, it would be an understatement to say that my life has changed a lot.
I’m 35 years old, i have a 7 year old daughter, and a 2 year old daughter.
I used to earn 4 times the average salary for my country, i had a big house, i had nice cars etc...Since men told me that it’s “what men do best”, i gave up on family, my relationship with my kids, my health, my sanity etc..., just to be able to provide for them.
Now, I’m not doing that. I earn enough for my family to live comfortably, but not enough to buy a nice car or to travel...Since men don’t do that, i spend a lot of time with my kids, i got close to my family and i started to see the memes that were around me all these years, i stopped to believe in the memes.
I see happy couples around me...and they are an exception !?

This sub is a great reminder that, i should be happy, not to be in jail, not to be dead, not to be homeless, not to be divorced, but to have 2 kids i love, a wife that loves me and a nice big house to call mine.

This sub is a great reminder that i should take care of my kids and love them as much as an human being can, because they are the last hope that i have that our current form of society will continue to exist in the future.
