Is "Just move to the country where the language is spoken" a horrible piece of advice?

I'm really irritated by people saying "Just move to the country where the language is spoken" when you ask them how to learn a language.

I'm going to ask from the perspective of someone who wants to learn English. I want to learn English but I don't have money to move to America.

In order to move to the United States, you have to be either be extremely qualified in order to get a visa or you have to be really rich and get a work visa.

I'm sure that this is not just the case for the US, but many other countries.

Now I'm sure if you want to move to a country with less requirements such as Spain, Italy, Portugal etc, then you will have an easy time.

But I'm really irritated when Americans, Germans etc tell you to move to the country to learn the language when they know the requirements to move there are really difficult.
