My sister (21F) is currently going through a divorce at 21. She's told me so much about her marriage and her husband that I feel like I know more about her marriage than even she does. Her marriage started off perfectly. They were married for 2 years and in love to the very end. That is, until her husband cheated.

I feel like that's when it all went to shit. One night, she came into the kitchen and cried while telling me her husband had "infidelity". It was hard to see her in that situation, and I felt obligated to tell her to take care of herself and take a break from work. The next day, she told me she wants a divorce. Months later, she told me that the divorce has been finalized.

Now she's in her mid-twenties, and she's lonely. She's started to go on dates again, and things are getting better, but I can tell she's still feeling some pain. I find it very sad to see her like this, but I'm so happy that she seems to be moving forward.

However, I don't want to see her in that position again. I don't want to see her be in a relationship where she's constantly worried. I don't want to see her be in a position where she constantly has to worry about her partner cheating.

So, I made a decision. I decided that I wouldn't tell her any of my business. I wouldn't tell her anything about my relationships or any of the things going on in my life. I wanted to do this because I wanted to protect her, and I didn't want to see her be in a position where she constantly had to worry about me.

She found out that I was doing this, and she was extremely angry. She confronted me and told me that I was being selfish, and that I was being a bad sister by not telling her things. She said that she trusted me, and that she felt like I didn't trust her.

AITA?
