Hey guys, I want to make lunches for my 8th grade twins (girls) that they would like and eat, but I’ve never been on the meal prep side of things and was hoping to get some ideas on how to do it in a way that doesn’t seem “lame” so they’ll actually eat it.

I’m not sure if I should prep a snack and lunch or just a lunch or what, all 3 meals, etc. It’s my first time out and I don’t want it to be a flop because I want them to enjoy both the eating and making of the meal. I just don’t want them to think it’s uncool to have a meal prepped lunch.

Can anyone give some ideas on how to get started? I have no issue cooking, that’s not the issue, it’s more the logistics and getting them to like the idea that’s something I’m just not sure what to do.

I’m going to ask them also, but I want to have my facts straight or some ideas written down so we can throw all the ideas on the table.
TIA :).

Edit: I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the ideas! :).

I’m doing a chicken mix with rice and pasta, some lean beef, some cheese mix with peas and pasta, and then mac and cheese because they love my mix :).

I’m just waiting for all the containers to come in the mail and then we’ll be all set. I’m so excited to do this! :).
