What are you buying to prepare for the recession?

My sister pointed me to a couple of things on Amazon that are good to store up on for a recession. She specifically said the recession is supposed to last two years. I have always been the save everything type- but with minimalism I am cutting down on saving extra toilet paper and trying to get rid of the 5 gallon buckets.
