Getting a promotion from tech to tech lead/manager, how to make a plan?

I’m currently working in a big tech company, I have 3 years of experience in tech field. I want to learn and know what types of skills and experiences that I need to get a promotion from tech to tech lead, or tech manager, or director. <br><br>How should I make a plan to know what types of skills/experiences are missing? And how to know all the skills and requirements from job post work experience? <br><br>I know that I need to grow in tech field first, and then in management, but the truth is I don’t know what types of skills are missing, and if I don’t work on them now, I will suffer when I decide to make a change. <br><br>Is there a way that I can make a plan to make a change in 3-4 years, and know what skills and requirements I need to try everyday to improve my skills. <br><br>Thank you so much for your help and time.
