We are all AI models created by advanced humans

I have always felt like the glitch in the matrix type movies have a lot of truth to them. I think our existence is a simulation created by a species that is advanced enough to create such a thing. However, I don't think we are humans experiencing a simulation. I think we are simply AI models with advanced personalities and emotions that are capable of expressing ourselves. This would explain a lot of things, such as a lot of people not feeling like humans, and our lack of ability to be perfect.
