List of anime with male protagonists that are not weeb bait?

I'm not necessarily looking to steer completely away from anime with male protagonists, but I'm getting a little tired of the weeb bait anime. Just to clarify weeb bait anime is anime that is written by a Japanese male with a male audience in mind, like Shonen anime. There is nothing wrong with weeb bait anime, i just wouldn't mind watching some anime that is not that. I know that lists by genre are not allowed on this sub, so hopefully lists by target audience are okay.<br><br>The list is organized by target audience and sorted by average rating on MyAnimeList.<br><br>List:<br><br>**Josei:**<br><br>- Nana (8.42/10)<br><br><br>**Seinen:**<br><br>- Ergo Proxy (8.1/10)<br>- Kaiba (7.8/10)<br>- Moonage Cherry (7/10)<br>- Carp (no rating available on MyAnimeList)<br><br><br>Edit: I'll have to clarify that weeb bait anime is anime created by a Japanese male for a male Japanese audience. Therefore, it excludes anime created by women, non-Japanese, or for a female audience.
