My Daughter and I Having Lunch

Lunch time, I'm sitting in a restaurant, surrounded by men and very few women. My daughter (June) on my right, my granddaughter on my left. <br><br>I ordered the corned beef sandwich, she ordered the chicken quesadilla, and our baby girl ordered the grilled cheese. <br><br>June's been asking if she's the reason I'm so happy lately, and I've told her multiple times yes, she's the reason I've been smiling lately. <br><br>At this point, I usually start rambling to her, she's always fascinated by what I have to say, and I'm just glad to have this opportunity. <br><br>"Oh June, I'm so glad you're my Daughter, you're so perfect to me, I wish you could see yourself the way I see you, but I don't think you ever could, and that's what makes you so perfect. I'm so lucky to have you, it's not something I've earned, and I know I don't deserve you, but I am grateful that you are mine."<br><br>"You're such a wonderful Daughter, and I love the fact that I can kiss you whenever I want, and that I don't have to stop kissing you just because you're an adult. I love being your Daddy, and I'm so proud of you."<br><br>"I can never repay what you've given me; this time with you, this love, this bond, this relationship is irreplaceable to me and I will cherish it forever.
