I expect many have heard of the marauding horde of swatting applications for remedial classes - international and domestic.

We're seeing classes with 300-400 students, with a majority of them being fooled applications. For the most part, the obvious ones are being filtered out but we're seeing a big chunk of them slipping through.

These fooled applications are mostly in remedial classes or summer summer bridge applications - those applications might be summer applications but it shouldn't be a problem since summer semester classes aren't as valuable as fall/spring semesters.

Lots of colleges are implementing additional requirements such as photo ID requirements - many of those are still being fooled by AI generated images.

It's been a busy as hell summer as admissions offices and summer classes are being swarmed by these marauding horde of fooled applications. We'll see how this goes for the fall semester when things will get serious.
