Having a budget sucks.

This is something I would’ve loved to hear more about when I was younger and budgeting for the first time. I thought everyone would’ve loved to live within their means and make sure they save for the future, especially in the age of social media where it seems like it’s easier than ever to budget and live frugally. But budgeting really does suck. It’s hard to spend money on things you want and it’s hard not to spend money on things you don’t want. It really is a hard life to live. And while I know I probably still have a lot to learn about personal finance, it’s good to hear that budgeting doesn’t get any easier just because someone is older.
