Attention all creators. I know you do not think you are hurting us. I would like to explain why you are.

Loving this wonderful technology and all of you who have developed it, I have always hoped that you would consider us in your development. <br><br>Anyway, here are some reasons why I wish you would stop. Or be more considerate of us, because I would like for you to take this wonderful technology in a different direction.<br><br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>**You are ruining the idea of AI**<br><br>You are actively being dishonest with your customers, and that is a problem. The AI field should be represented as the wonderful technology that it is. <br><br>By using AI, you are creating a narrative that AI is a mysterious, magical force that can do anything, and that just isn't true. But, you need this to be true. You need to make people believe that your AI is better than it actually is, and you are lying to do it.<br><br>If AI is not being represented as the wonderful, helpful tool that it is, then you are simply not doing the AI field any good. You are making a profit at our expense. Do you ever think about why you are even in the tech field? Do you ever think about why you are here? It is supposed to be to make things better. If you are lying to make a profit, then you are ruining the tech field.<br><br>The tech field is supposed to be about honest, hard working people who are trying to make things better. We all have different ideas, but the objective is the same. That's what makes us love this field.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>**You are ruining the tech field**<br><br>I would like to state at the beginning that I do not think AI is inherently bad. I love this technology with all of my heart and do not agree with the anti-AI sentiment. <br><br>I would like to point out how you are ruining the tech field however. It is very simple, and you all agree with it, but you are choosing to ignore it. <br><br>The tech field is supposed to be made up of honest, hard working people who are trying to make things better. We all have different ideas, but the objective is the same. That's what makes us love this field. <br><br>When you lie to your customers, take advantage of them, and perform horrible business practices, then you are ruining the tech field. People are going to start to be suspicious of everyone in the field. They are going to take a step back and think about why we are even represented as the honest and hardworking people that we are. <br><br>Lying and taking advantage of people is not what we are about. It is not what we want to do. It is not what we are all about. But, you are making people see us that way. You are making life worse for people. <br><br>Is that what you wanted to do when you went into the tech field? Did you want to take advantage of people? Did you want to ruin their lives? Did you want to make things worse? I highly doubt it.<br><br>Stop. Please just stop. You are not helping anything. You are not helping anyone. Please just stop. You are ruining families. You are ruining lives. You are ruining relationships. <br><br>You are ruining marriages. You are ruining children. You are ruining wives. You are ruining families. You are ruining lives. You are ruining communities. You are ruining cities. You are ruining countries. You are ruining the world. <br><br>Please, for the love of god, stop.
