I'm generally disappointed.

I'm just disappointed in the community and the media as a whole. I don't want to be a bitter fan and I want to be able to share my hobby and interest with the world. But at every turn there's something that holds me back. The generally negative perception of anime, over sexualization, pedophilia, and lack of effort to try to better the community by those who participate in it. Comedies are now becoming less funny and more sexualized, and the more serious shows seem to be less story driven and character oriented. I just hope that between Japan and the world, we can work to better and mature the media as a whole.<br><br>Edit: you can stop downvoting now. I got my point across.
