ChatGPT went full horseshoe on a topic I thought would definitely be uncontroversial

I asked an Italian-Spanish speaking ChatGPT to write 5 bullet points about the differences between Italian and Spanish cuisine.

The second bullet point went like this:

*"Los platos de pasta y arroz en la cocina italiana se basan en un ciclo de creación muy intenso, mientras que los platos de pasta y arroz en la cocina española se basan en un ciclo de creación muy relajado."*

*("Italian pasta and rice dishes are based on a very intense creation cycle, while Spanish pasta and rice dishes are based on a very relaxed creation cycle.")*

..."a cycle of creation" is what you call "cooking"

In my opinion, the most relevant difference between Italian and Spanish cuisine is that the Spanish eat a lot of chickpeas, lentils and chickpeas-lentils stews, while in Italy this type of legumes-based dish is extremely rare. On the other hand, the Spanish eat a lot less polenta, while in Italy it is a staple, and similarly the Spanish don't eat the blood sausage called *cotechino-morzello* that is so common in the north of Italy.

So the second bullet point could have been something like

*"Legumes (lentils, chickpeas, beans) are more widespread in Spanish cuisine, while polenta and blood sausage (morcilla) are more widespread in Italian cuisine."*

But instead ChatGPT decided to say that Spanish people cook their dishes at a relaxed pace while Italian people rush their dishes.
