Guy I dated made a seriously threatening comment right before he ghosted and disappeared

I (38f) briefly dated (3 weeks) a guy I met on Match. He was very into me and I wasn’t super into him but really enjoyed his company and only saw potential red flags. I know now I ignored these. <br><br>The only seriously odd thing he did was that he came to my house 2 different times just to drop things off. Once it was a banana (he said he bought too many) and the other time a book about the area I was from. Both times he didn’t knock he just walked into my garage and into the house. Like I didn’t even have the door unlocked. He didn’t steal anything but it was very strange and the second time it happened I seriously considered calling the police because my house is my safe space and this was very violating. <br><br>Other then that the dates we went on were normal and he didn’t do anything seriously concerning. The last time we hung out, I told him I really wasn’t feeling a connection. He seemed like a good person but wasn’t for me. He looked really pissed and like he was holding back tears so I said let’s forget I said that and go grab dinner. I just really wanted to get away from him because he was so upset. So we went to a restaurant that’s about a block away from his house. The whole time he didn’t say a word but seemed okay so I didn’t think much of it. When we were done eating and walking to our cars I tried to change the subject and said do you want to grab coffee sometime? He looked at me and said “I’ll never see you again.” And then got in his car and drove off. I was seriously shocked and like okay weird guy whatever. I really did think that would be the last time I saw him. <br><br>The next day he texted me and said he really liked me and wasn’t ready for it to be over. I said I wasn’t interested and wished him well. Then he called me. He was very angry and told me I was seriously disrespecting him by dumping him when he was so serious about us. I said I wasn’t interested and also it was just 3 dates. So I really don’t think that’s how it works. He said I was the most seriously woman he dated in his life. I told him that’s insane because of the short time we dated. He repeated I was the most serious relationship he’s ever had. I told him he needs to stop contacting me and he said “I will. And this will be over very soon.” I said what does that mean and he said I’ll see you around. I asked if he was threatening me and he said no I’m promising you. I said please don’t contact me again and he did say we would not be speaking again but that didn’t mean we wouldn’t be seeing each other. <br><br>That was almost 11 months ago. I never heard from him again and I did remove my number from Match. It’s possible he’s seen me and I just don’t know but I feel a little better because I live in a small town in a rural area. I do seriously cringe when I drive down the street he lives on because he works at a hospital in that area. <br><br>I really do seriously hope this is it and he just ghosted. But the fact that he was able to just walk into my house is sometimes really scary to think about.
