EDIT: I would like to start off by thanking everyone who contributed to this thread. I feel like I have a better understanding on how to combat stereotypes and I will try my best to empower people around me and myself. I have made a few accounts on other chambers to spread the message around. Thank you all once again for your helpful comments and advice, I appreciate it.

Ok, so I'm a proud feminist. I love playing video games. And I swear. Alot. Like alot alot. I never used to swear when I was younger, but it has become second nature and I'm kinda too used to it to stop now.

With feminism comes a lot of stereotypes; men are better than women, feminist women are awful towards men, feminist women never shave their legs, feminist women are angry all the time. So I'd like to combat a few of those. I think men and women should have equal rights, there are a few outspoken women who are angry all the time and who think men are inferior to women but I do not think that and I believe, as a feminist, everyone should be treated equally regardless of their race or religion. I'm also not that angry all the time, sure I do get angry sometimes but who doesn't. I'm not a very good singer so I won't be auditioning for America's got talent anytime soon, I am, however, pretty good at the guitar. I do have long hair, I do wear makeup and I do like to dress up sometimes and I also like video games. Oh, and I never liked cooking. I'm pretty good at cooking, I just don't like it.

As you can imagine it gets pretty tiring having so many stereotypes. So how do I combat this? How do I let people know I'm a proud feminist who doesn't hate men? Who enjoys playing video games? Who swears alot? Who isn't very good at singing? And who has long hair, sometimes wears makeup, never liked cooking and occasionally dresses up?

TL;DR: So I would like to know how I can show people I'm not a stereotypical feminist, by trying to change people's thoughts on feminism and empower people and myself in general.
