Hi everyone,
as I am in a period of my life where I have a few hours a day to invest in myself, I thought about starting to learn a programming language.
Unfortunately, I don't know where to start, so I was hoping to get some advice.
I'm a beginner (I have zero experience in coding) by the way.
To be more specific, a few questions I have:

(1) Is there a website where I can subscribe and learn a programming language? I found a lot of websites, but I do not want to invest time in something that is not worth it. I need your reviews. (e.g coursera, edX, Udemy, codecademy, etc). If it makes a difference, i am a student, so most of these website I can get for free through my university.

(2) Which programming language should I learn first? I have by now heard a few programming languages, but I can't make a decision. So far, I heard that Javascript is the best language to learn for a beginner (and useful in the long run), but I also heard about Python, Java and C++.
I am an economics student, so I plan to work in the finance industry, so maybe there is a language that is more useful than another one in the long run.

(3) Other than coding, are there other skills I have to acquire in order to get a job in coding? I will get a bachelor's and a master's degree in economics, if that is important for the answer. If so, what are they?

And other useful information you might have.
Thank you so much!
