Hate speech against Lithuanians irl?

I was chilling with my buddy a few days ago (both lithuanians) and some guy walks by and visits us. Without any context he says "fuck u" as he walks by. I think it's a joke as it was a friendly "fuck u". <br><br>However when he gets closer I realize his words were "fuck lithuanians". He thought we were lithuanians and said that. What the fuck is up with this hate speech lads?
