Practically all tech makes your life worse

i dont know if it's the alcohol but i'm seriously thinking about unhooking myself from the web and social media and stuff. <br><br>i dont want to be dependent on my phone. i dont want people monitoring my every move. i dont want to be swayed by the algorithm constantly making me watch videos. i dont want random ads. i dont want emails. i dont want to make everything about me. i dont wanna record my voice. i dont wanna talk to people at all when i'm just sitting in my house. i dont want this digital footprint. i dont want to carry around my whole digital history with me around. i dont want private companies to know what i do. i dont want my government to know what i do. i dont wanna be attached to the internet. just give me electricity and i'm happy.<br><br>i seriously dont know how many good things tech brings and how many bad things i will have to take with it. <br><br>i just genuinely dont know if tech is making my life better. it just feels like tech is in control of me, not the other way around.
