Have you ever heard of the "3 date rule"?

To me it means waiting until the third date to have sex with that person<br><br><br>so I had a date last night and we started talking about this rule<br><br><br>a little back story: I started dating a guy 2-3 weeks ago. He is such a gentleman and treats me with a lot of respect. I feel like I can talk to him about anything. He is also very confident which is an extreme turn on for me<br><br>Ok so we were having dinner at a restaurant and he said that he's heard of this rule before. He said he beleives in the "no rules" rule<br><br><br>a little rule of my own - I am not just having sex with anyone. I want to make sure that I trust them and that we get a long super well before becoming intimate<br><br><br>so basically I wanted to wait for a little while to see if we were compatible and I feel like we are the best of friends already after only a few weeks of dating<br><br><br>he said he felt a little nervous when I first mentioned that I wanted to wait because he wasn't sure how long I wanted to wait and it made him feel like he felt a little bit devalued (rightly so) because he doesn't want sex to just be about sex. He wants sex to be intimate because he wants to feel valued and respected by his partner<br><br><br>so I apologized because I just wanted to make sure we were compatible and I didn't mean to make him feel that way. I told him I was ready to take our relationship to the next level<br><br><br>so basically the reason for this post is to ask if you have ever heard of the 3 date rule?
