I’m (f36) trying to make new friends, but they (m) always want to date me instead

I don’t really know where to go with this, as I don’t really have a way to share the post. I’ve been on Bumble BFF twice now, and both of the guys I was talking to have asked me out on a date. I’m not mad at them, I’m more mad at myself because I can’t seem to make ANY new friends. I have always been somewhat of a loner, but now I’m in my mid 30s and feel like I’m just meant to be alone. I have absolutely no friends in the place I live in. I go to work, go to the grocery store, come home and then go to bed. I’ve tried joining Facebook groups, posting on Next Door, asking coworkers if they want to grab dinner. I just want to have SOMEONE to talk to, and it seems like no one is interested. I’ve tried Bumble BFF for the third time, and already have 2 guys talking to me. I’m just waiting for the inevitable “want to go out sometime?”. I just want someone to talk to, I just want someone to sit and go to dinner with me. Why is it so hard?
