AITA for choosing my college's baseball team over my son's baseball team?

I do volunteer work for my alma-mater's baseball team, and have for about 8 years now. Last year I was promoted to a higher position within the team and have more responsiblitys now then I did before.

I have a 14 year old son who also plays baseball. I attend as many of his games as I possibly can. I tell my son before every game how proud of him I am, win or lose, and just try to be the best dad possible

Last weekend my son had a game at 9am, and my college had a game at 1pm. I went to my son's game and it went into extra innings. It was 2:30 before theylost and I had to leave right after to get to my colleges game.

My son brought it up later that night and said I could've stayed and been there for him as he was upset that the game went into extra innings. First, as a baseball player, you know games go into extra innings sometimes. Second, I already told him my schedule that day.

He said I choosing baseball over baseball, is that good enough reasoning?

AITA?

Edit: To answer some questions that are being asked frequently

1. Yes my son knew ahead of time about the scheduling conflict and was told what to do in case the game went into extra innings

2. I told my son if there was a scheduling conflict like the one we had, I expected him to find another ride home. He did, and he was only 30 minutes late getting home

3. I can't miss practices/games for my college. Like some have mentioned, one missed day could ruin the season or even get me fired from my position

4. I've missed one of my son's games due to a scheduling conflict. I've never missed a practice
